The Chairman's Recognition Award runs separately from the club's annual awards and can be presented throughout the season.
It is designed to recognise exceptional examples of determination, resilience, sportsmanship and contribution that go above and beyond the norm.
Determination
Showing commitment, effort and the willingness to keep going when things are difficult.
Resilience
Responding positively to setbacks, challenges or difficult circumstances.
Sportsmanship
Showing respect, integrity and the right values on and off the pitch.
Contribution
Doing something exceptional for a player, team, family or the wider club.
Anyone who makes a difference.
Nominations are open to anyone involved with Maidenbower Colts — players, coaches, volunteers, parents and other people who make an exceptional contribution to the club.

A player showing remarkable resilience, a coach going beyond expectations, or someone whose sportsmanship sets the standard for others.
Parents & volunteers
Recognition can also go to the dedicated people behind the scenes who consistently support teams, players and the wider club.
How recognition works.
Anyone can nominate a worthy person. Nominations are submitted in writing and considered by the Club Committee, with awards made only where the nomination demonstrates exceptional merit.
Nominate
Send the person's name and a clear explanation of what they have done and why it deserves recognition.
Committee review
The Club Committee considers each nomination against the purpose and values of the award.
Recognition
Where exceptional merit is demonstrated, the Chairman's Recognition Award is presented and celebrated by the club.
