Involved.
Grassroots football is built by people who give their time, energy and ideas. Whether you want to play, coach, referee, sponsor or volunteer, there is a place for you at MCFC.
How do you want to get involved?
Maidenbower Colts is more than the teams on the pitch. Players, parents, coaches, officials, volunteers and local businesses all play a part in making the club work.
Help create great football experiences.
You do not need to arrive as an experienced coach. MCFC supports its coaches and managers with training, qualifications, equipment and the practical help needed to run a team.
How much time is involved?
Will there be others helping me?
Do I have to organise fixtures and pitches?

Start from age 14
Young people from the age of 14, as well as adults, can explore becoming a referee. It is a great way to develop confidence, decision-making and a deeper understanding of football.
Training & support
Sussex County FA provides referee training, whether you are interested in supporting younger teams or progressing to officiate older age groups.
Support grassroots. Be seen locally.
Sponsoring a team, kit, equipment or club activity gives local businesses a visible way to support children and young people in the community while building awareness of their own brand.
You don't have to coach to make a difference.
The club depends on volunteers behind the scenes as well as on the touchline. Administration, finance, fundraising, events, marketing and general club support all need people with different skills and experience.
Whatever you can offer, we'd like to hear from you.
